Nasser Kutkut, Ph.D., MBA, CEO

Dr. Nasser H. Kutkut is founder and CEO of PowerDesigners.   Dr. Kutkut holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with focus on fast charging as well as an MBA in Management and Entrepreneurship from the same school.   Dr. Kutkut has extensive experience in battery management technologies including fast charging technologies, battery monitoring systems, battery equalization techniques, as well as high frequency power converters and controls.  Dr. Kutkut leads the technology development at the company and as well as the business and market development for the company's wide range of products.  Dr. Kutkut has over 40 publications and holds 10 U.S. and foreign patents.

Steve Ache, DBA, VP Sales and Marketing

A veteran of the battery industry, Steve has well over 18 years of senior management experience in the industrial battery market. Prior to joining PowerDesigners, Steve has enjoyed success as a senior manager with Aerovironment (PosiCharge), Enersys Inc, and GNB Technologies.  Steve holds a BS from Southwest Missouri State University, a MS from Chicago State University, an MBA and Doctorate in Business Administration from California Coast University.  Prior to his work in industrial sales Steve was an instructor at Triton College in Chicago and was a linebacker for the Minnesota Vikings. Steve is a very active member of the NFL Alumni Association and volunteers his time to the associations Caring For Kids Program.

Mike Damiano, VP Engineering

Mike has more than 30 years of engineering and engineering management experience.  Throughout his career, he held various positions ranging from direct design to senior engineering and management positions.  Prior to joining PowerDesigners, Mike spent 13 years at Rockwell Automation where he was an senior engineering manager.  Mike has a broad background having worked in a number of engineering disciplines and product areas including aerospace and commercial power controls, high frequency welding supplies, turbine and FAA certified engine controls, and servo motion control systems.  Mike received his BS in Biomedical engineering from Marquette University.  He holds 8 Patents.  Mike's other interests include flying (he is a licensed private pilot) and ballroom dancing.

Pat Vike, VP Manufacturing

Pat has 17 years of manufacturing experience with focus on electronics and electro-mechanical assemblies.  She has extensive experience in developing and implementing quality systems and lean manufacturing processes.  Prior to joining Power Designers, Pat held process and manufacturing engineering positions at Motorola, Tellabs, & Andrew Corporation.  Pat holds a BS in Industrial Engineering from the University of Wisconsin Madison.
